Brian Adler

The debut feature comedy from Scott Marshall (son of Garry Marshall) finds an average neighborhood Laundromat the unlikely site of a bizarre hostage situation.

To help facilitate the challenge of executing cinematic comedy within a confined space, composer Brian Adler runs the gamut of pop and rock influences, from funk to punk, jazz to rock, oftentimes within the course of a single track. Punk meets Ska meets rock in “Bad Guys” while it’s blues coupling with funk in such tracks as "Underwear Sheriff " and "Echo Sex." From the head-banging rhythms of "In the Dryer" to the smoother jazz guitar-and-sax riff of "Tess," it’s a score engineered expressly to provide audiences a non-stop cavalcade of unexpected surprises and cheeky musical references.
