Anyone may search and stream our catalog, however you must obtain a verified account to download, license, and utilize some of the advanced functions on the website. The site allows you search our catalog in four different ways - by Keywords, Filter Tools, Explore button, and Upload search. Our Keyword and Filter Tools are powered by each track’s intricate metadata, which includes information on the music genre, film genre, instrumentation, ensemble, tempo, vibe, and whether it's optimal for a trailer. Simply type in a descriptive Keyword to our search bar or launch one of the Filter Tools that are docked at the bottom left-hand corner of our search interface. Have you found a track you like, but still wish to listen to similar sounding music? Pressing the Explore button will present you with an array of acoustically similar results. The Explore button analyzes the acoustic qualities of the music without reference to the track’s word-based metadata. It’s especially helpful when you are open to using music that could be from a few different genres. Are you searching for trip-hop but open to an Indian raga that shares many of the same acoustic qualities? The Explore button is designed to help you quickly find outside the box search results. Upload any “temp” track you’re using to the website, and we’ll instantly analyze its musical qualities and provide you with acoustically similar results from our catalog. The Upload search is powered by the same technology as the Explore button.
Registered users can search, download, and share music to test it in a production context. Once it is intended for any commercial use or public performance (including broadcast, theatrical, or any use in which it is synchronized to visual media) you will need to obtain a license from us. Film music downloaded from the site is to be used by registered users only and is not intended for non-professional or personal use.
Our license fees are quoted on a case-by-case basis. There is no rate card, but we’re competitive in the marketplace. The fee is based on the use of the music including media, context, duration, territory and term.
In many cases we have the right to license 100% of the master and sync rights to the music. In cases where we don’t, we’ll notify you and contact the other rights holder to arrange a quote and initiate a license.
Currently, we are not making blanket-licensing arrangements. However, if you need a blanket license, please contact us and we may be able to accommodate your individual needs with selected tracks from our catalog.

Ian Hierons was the Senior Vice President, Acquisitions, of Milan Records, one of the premiere soundtrack record labels in the world. For more than ten years he successfully distributed soundtrack albums for numerous commercially and critically successful films including Pan's Labyrinth, Mulholland Drive, The Queen and City of God.
Seth Kaplan and Christine Russell are the founding principals of Evolution Music Partners, a leading talent agency representing film composers and other media music creatives. Notable agency projects include the films Promised Land, The Evil Dead, Bling Ring, Beginners, Emperor, Red Riding Hood, W.E, The Rite, A Single Man, The Last King of Scotland, Lost in Translation, Friday Night Lights, The Saw franchise, and Zodiac; television programs include Dexter, Justified, Body of Proof, Revenge, Futurama, Big Love, Bones, and Shameless; interactive games include Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Red Faction: Armageddon, Singularity, and Silent Hill.
Throughout their careers, the three founders have experienced the impact that film music can make in the music licensing space and have created Score Revolution to fully realize its potential in this market.
